Why a duck? Why not a duck?! Why not TWO ducks? Here's a mallard couple snapped by intrepid Wanderer Charlie Fineran as spring was arriving last year.

This week is shaping up nicely with music, with Roy's Hall featuring returning favorite YARN, The Arts at St. Luke's is hosting Poor Man's Gambit and The Brass Roots band is appearing at Taphouse Grille.

Centenary Stage Company hosts a world premiere of a new show, and Easter events are already peeking their way through the Plan Ahead section, so take a gander!

Originally a part of CSC's 2022 Women Playwright Series readings, Off the Map received the Susan Glaspell Award and is now turning into a fully realized production making its world premiere! Denny and Claire have retired to the wilds of Central America, where they quickly discover that things are not as they were expecting, neither in their relationship, nor in their new property. A mysterious mound is discovered, challenging all their beliefs about what is ever truly real and what is imagined.

This is a free event for 3rd - 6th grade girls. The goal is to provide healthy and fun alternative activities for Phillipsburg youth. Each Fri-YAY night is themed and includes pizza, music, special activities, and games for certain age groups.

The Arts at St. Luke's is back with Philadelphia-based Celtic band, Poor Man’s Gambit. The band features Deirdre Lockman on fiddle, vocals and Irish dance, Corey Purcell on button accordion, cittern, bodhran, vocals and dance, and Federico Betti on guitar and fiddle.

Roy's Hall once again welcome YARN for their only NJ appearance on their tour. They've landed on the Grammy ballot 4 times, garnered nods from the Americana Music Association, placed top five on both Radio and Records and the AMA album charts, garnered airplay on Sirius FM, iTunes, Pandora, CNN, and CMT, and also accorded the “Download of the Day” from Rolling Stone.

One and a half hour tours happen this weekend. There are threee levels to explore. Only level one is wheel chair accessible. Suggested donation of $10 per person.

Brass Roots is a rock and rhythm-based band with the usual make up of musical instruments plus brass. The band is based out of Long Valley, New Jersey and performs a wide variety of musical genres from rock to funk to soul to R&B to country.

Modeled after VonThun's Equine Scout Program, young horse lovers will be introduced to horses, horse care, handling, and riding. Appropriate for ages 6 and older.

Ice ice baby! Cass from Honored Daisy is offering a beginners tie-dye class featuring ice dye. This technique uses ice and powder dye instead of traditional liquid dye.

The days are cold and football is winding down. Every other Sunday, Buttzville lays out all the board games for you to enjoy with a pint or bring a game from home.

Local artist Christina Podobed will be leading this class on spring robin drawing and watercolor. Please bring a print out of your own reference photo you would like to use or be prepared to use one provided to you.
