In Moliere's play from 1672, adapted by Freyda Thomas, Philamente and her daughter Armande are rabid supporters of the new intellectual movement among women.  In her overzealousness, Philamente plays marriage matchmaker for her sweet younger daughter Henrietta. Add to this a meek husband, a loony if lovable sister, a practical sister-in-law and a couple of mouthy servants and you have the makings of a sprightly theatre event!

Every weekend in October will be Family Harvest Weekend. They will have live music, their vino cafe menu, wine tasting, hayrides, corn maze, pumpkin/apple picking and fun for the whole family.

The Phillipsburg Railroad Historians will have its annual Autumn Open House. The Centerville and Southwestern Miniature Railroad will be operating and their museum and car shop will be open for your perusal. Admission is free. You may also wish to check out the gift shop while in the museum.

In the month of October, every Delaware River Railroad Excursion train is The Great Pumpkin Train. When riding the Great Pumpkin Train, every child will be able to pick their own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. $18/adult; $12/child. Trips leave 11am, 12:30pm, 2pm and 3:30pm.
