The original Friday The 13th was filmed in northern Warren County, and whenever that date rolls around, Jason Voorhees roams the streets and alleys of downtown Blairstown in tribute to the 1980 cult slasher classic. Horror film fanatics from across the country flock to the area to tour the local filming locations, concluding their visit with a screening of the movie at Roy's Hall. Tickets now available online! Enjoy a day of fall fun at Donaldson's every weekend (weather permitting) through October. Highlights: Pick-your-own pumpkins, apples, and Indian corn; corn maze; corn cannon; pony rides (12-4pm); duck races; delicious food; vendors; and more!
Fall Fest is a great way to spend a day outside with your family and enjoy the beautiful surroundings! ​On the vine pumpkin picking is back this year and the fields are filled with beautiful pumpkins!
The Canal Society of New Jersey offers a wide range of programming at Waterloo Village this year including the new Highlands Canal Boat Exhibit featuring the recently discovered remains of what may be the last Morris Canal Boat. Some of the historic buildings will be open, historic trades & crafts will be demonstrated, and there will be canal boat rides. Special events: the Skylands Dulcimer String Band presents its own unique blend of  traditional, Celtic, old time, classical and modern music; Store keeper and village historian, Rick Giles, gives visitors an idea of what shopping was like in the 1860; and Miller Steve Lauf  will be grinding grain and demonstrating the operation of a real water-powered gristmill.
In the month of October, every Delaware River Railroad Excursion train is The Great Pumpkin Train. Every child gets to pick their own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. $18/adult; $12/child. Trips leave 11am, 12:30pm, 2pm and 3:30pm. 
The inaugural Phillipsburg Pork Roll Palooza located on the banks of the scenic Delaware River will feature Pork Roll-themed food and beverages, vendors, activities including the great Pork Roll vs. Taylor Ham debate, and live music all day! Family fun weekend is happening at their Fall Festival!
Every weekend in October: pick your own pumpkins & apples; tractor drawn hayrides; corn maze ($5); wine tasting, wine cellar tours; games for everyone; and live music!
Enjoy some live jazz and wine under their new arbor. Admission is $15 per person. Offer wood-fired pizza and other culinary treats for purchase from Osteria Morini/Nicoletta Pizzeria.
Sip wine and enjoy live music in a casual atmosphere. Wine for purchase by the bottle or glass at retail value. Bring your own food if you like.
