UACNJ provides free public programs at the astronomy club in Jenny Jump State Forest from April through October on Saturday evenings. The astronomy presentation begins at 8pm and is followed by stargazing on the observatory's telescopes until 10:30pm, weather permitting.

Celebrate Independence in Washington all day long with a parade, food, fun live music in the evening, and fireworks! Orange Crate Derby competition at 8:30am. Parade steps off at 3pm (Route 31 and Broad St. to Belvidere Ave. to Carlton Ave.to North Prospect St.). Music by Doc South & DJ Dave Rupell 6-9:30pm at Warren Hills Middle School athletic field, followed by fireworks at dark.
