A country fair, a film fest, and the every-popular Victorian Days (look for our Explore Warren tent!) are just a few of the offerings this first weekend after Labor Day (put away those white shoes!) plus there are lots of "Plan Ahead" events where you'll want to make sure you line up tickets now. Coming Up

Each year, the farm has a military-themed corn maze, and this year's 7-acre version depicts the workhorse of the Vietnam War, the Bell UH-1 Iroquois helicopter, better known as the Huey.  The farm has a special connection to the Huey - learn more in this YouTube video - and the corn maze is open Wednesday through Friday for Preview Days, where admission is by a donation that goes to charity assisting homeless veterans. Then Saturday and Sunday the maze officially opens with Bring Your Hero Days, where any youth ages 12 & under can bring their police officer, EMT or firefighter family member for free, with their own paid admission. (All Veterans are always free, so a youth accompanying a veteran will get in free!)

Join in on the fun at Tramontin! There will be live entertainment by Rated R, great food from Chefs Enterprises, LLC, free cigars by Northwest Jersey Harley Owners Group #2906 and a family fun night.

Step back into yesteryear as the Warren County seat holds its 30th Victorian Days celebration on and around the town green, with live entertainment, an antique and classic car show, a kids zone, artisan vendors, an auction, two Civil War encampments with living historians, an authors’ grove, historic and educational presentations and demonstrations, all for free, plus delicious food, ticketed house tours, porch teas, cemetery tours, and ghost tours, $5 horse & carriage rides, and so much more.

Help the Ridge and Valley Conservancy stewards with a variety of tasks such as trail clearing and invasive plant removal. Tools will be provided. Bring gloves, wear tick repellent and sun protection.

With the garden at its peak and an abundance of herbs – it’s time to harvest; come learn the basics on how to make your own herbal condiments. This class will feature the creation of two oils, two vinegars and a pesto to take home. Light refreshments will be served. Reservations are required.

Tour a private residence in Hardwick where habitat restoration began in 2008. See garden, fields, and ponds while hearing about successful, and unsuccessful, efforts to improve wildlife habitat by promoting native plants and reducing lawn. Event includes lunch.

Join the Musconetcong Watershed Association as we host our 2nd Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival On Tour! This year's festival will feature films highlighting the importance of rivers, the science of agriculture, and pollinators in nature.

Come out and enjoy the beautiful view and live music on the deck with Richie G "Rich Goldberg". Rich Goldberg is a one man band, singing and playing the piano. He uses backing tracks and voice harmonizer to create a full band sound.

We will be creating planters filled with the beauty of autumn to grace your walkways, patios and entrances. The cost is $40 per person and includes your choice of containers and plants along with soil and instruction. You may choose to bring a pair of garden gloves. Reservations are a must.

The band's sound comes from their love of American Roots music from the Gulf Coast: Blues, Rock, Country, Zydeco and R&B grooves are guaranteed to make hands clap and feet stomp. Wood-fired pizza, estate premium wine, and music will be available.

Enjoy listening to Late Night Kennel Club. Wine is available for purchase by the glass or bottle.

Pack a lunch, bring food to grill, carry a lawn chair or blanket, or grab a table and chair under the pergola to enjoy the Music at Milagro series. 

 

The Black Cross Band offers a Southern Rock 'n' Roll twist to Rock Creek Tavern.

Join certified Yoga Teacher Kate McGuiness for a one hour, all levels Hatha Yoga class. All levels of experience are welcome. Wear comfortable clothing, bring water and a yoga mat. 

Singer guitarist, Bill Ihling started playing in bands back when Jimmy Carter was president. He grew up in the middle of the liberating '60s, but was made to listen to bands like Herb Albert and the Tijuana Band not "Rock & Roll".

Warren County's two museums at Morris Canal sites are both open for the afternoon. Journey underground on a guided tour through the 165-foot tailrace tunnel into the turbine chamber, check ou new animation depicting how Plane 9 worked, and see other canal artifacts in the museum. Meanwhile, the Warren Heritage Museum at Bread Bread Lock Park also is open, featuring displays that interpret history along the Warren Heritage Scenic Byway. Shippen Manor, the restored 18th century iron master’s mansion, is located 1/4 mile west of the Route 31/Wall Street intersection in Oxford, on Belvidere Avenue.

Frank DiBussolo is a renowned, master jazz guitarist, composer, arranger and band leader. Relax to the sounds of Frank DiBussolo Trio while you enjoy some wood-fired pizza and premium estate wines!

A popular local duo, Stan & Elise return to Brook Hollow to perform a mix of classic '60s tunes, contemporary favorites and jazz standards.

Saturday evenings between April and October 2019, the United Astronomy Clubs of New Jersey (UACNJ) Observatory, located in Jenny Jump State Forest in Hope, NJ will be open.

The Farmers’ Market offers quality fruits and vegetables as well as specialty items with special events throughout the season. The weekly farmers’ market takes place every Saturday through the end of October, from 10am-2pm.

Community Corner

Support your local fire department by coming on a train ride to Susquehanna Mining. Activities include touch a fire truck, explore a corn maze, meet real firemen, vote on the best truck and more! Tickets are $22 for Adults and $16 for Children. Food can be purchase for an additional cost.

Warren County conducts its annual Patriot Day observance, honoring all victims and residents of Warren County who perished in the Terrorist Attacks of 9/11/01 as well as Warren County Emergency Service personnel who have died in the line of duty.
