As we welcome the month of October (or is it “Oktober”?), we feel an irresistible urge to surround ourselves with mums, pumpkins and other ornamentals. And why not? They’re beautiful! UACNJ provides free public programs at the astronomy club in Jenny Jump State Forest from April through October on Saturday evenings. The astronomy presentation begins at 8pm and is followed by stargazing on the observatory's telescopes until 10:30pm, weather permitting.
