Warren County Wanderings

"I cannot endure to waste anything as precious as autumn sunshine by staying in the house. So I spend almost all the daylight hours in the open air." -  Nathaniel Hawthorne

This weekend ushers in the Autumn Equinox, when day and night are equal length, and the weather forecast couldn't be much nicer! Make some time to hike, bike, paddle, stomp, wander about a street festival and/or historic village, dine alfresco... and anything else that floats your boat! Apple picking season is well underway - the photo above is from Longmeadow Farm - so add that to the list, too! We advise locals to scroll all the way down to the Community Corner section for hidden gems.

And a warm welcome to new subscribers we met at Victorian Days and Preservation Day! We hope to pick up more - and visit with loyal followers - at Washington's Festival in the Borough on Saturday! Happy Wanderings!
