Summer takes its last licks with warm weather this weekend, as Monday brings fall's first day. So don't waste a moment! The harvest season is upon us - that's Marshall's Farm Market in the photo - and we've got plenty of options in this week's edition to help you pick your fun. So goodbye summer, hello autumn, and Happy Wanderings!

Knowlton Township Historic Commission hosts drum group Aduna (The Tree of Life) to lead a drum circle to unite people and listen to the healing rhythms of West African regions of Senegal, Mali, Guinea and the Ivory Coast.

The 2019-20 season kicks off with Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Darlene Love, the voice that helped launch a hundred hits, headlining CSC’s annual, celebratory “Curtain Up!” gala.

This year's corn maze pays tribute to the Huey helicopter, the workhorse of the Vietnam War. The maze is open 11am-6pm Wednesday to Sunday each week through November 11 (call for a Monday or Tuesday visit).

Come see your favorite local farmers and food producers at the Blairstown Farmers Market! Open every Saturday from 9:30am-1pm.

The Farmers’ Market offers quality fruits and vegetables as well as specialty items with special events throughout the season. The weekly farmers’ market takes place every Saturday through the end of October, from 10am-2pm.

This year's Corn Maze The Great Pumpkin Train. Come on out and play the game where getting lost is half the fun!

Saturday evenings between April and October 2019, the United Astronomy Clubs of New Jersey (UACNJ) Observatory, located in Jenny Jump State Forest in Hope, NJ will be open.

Join certified Yoga Teacher Kate McGuiness for a one hour, all levels Hatha Yoga class. All levels of experience are welcome. Wear comfortable clothing, bring water and a yoga mat.

Community Corner

The veterans of The American Legion, Carl D. Archer Post 528 of White Township will be holding a Recognition Day ceremony at the Prisoner of War/Missing in Action memorial, located at the Oscar Unangst Memorial Fields. 

An evening event, ending with a fireworks display! The snack stand will be open. Inflatables ride 6pm - 8:30pm; air brush tattoos 6pm - 9pm; Warren County Sheriff's Department will issue kids' ID cards and take expired prescriptions.

Join Joan Salvas, Rutherfurd Hall Historian who will deliver a lecture "The Rutherfurds of Allamuchy" while you enjoy a dinner buffet, dessert and coffee. You do not have to be a member of the Panther Valley Country Club to attend. Cost is $45 and cash bar is available.

Buck Hill Brewery hosts an evening of tasting Classic Single Malts to include Oban 14 year and Lagavulin 16 year along with a tasting of Buck Hill Brews. This event will book up fast! A fantastic four course menu will pair with the tasting.

Polkadots: The Cool Kids Musical follows 8-year-old Lily Polkadot who just moved to the "Squares Only" small town of Rockaway. As the first Polkadot in an all Square school, Lily faces an almost impossible task of gaining acceptance from her peers.
