Warren County Wanderings

"Anyone could see that the wind was a special wind this night, and the darkness took on a special feel because it was All Hallows' Eve." - Ray Bradbury

There are more Halloween events happening this weekend than you can shake a (broom) stick at! Check them out in More Things To Do along with the Appalachian Trail Conservancy’s viewshed protection meetings looking for the community’s input on trail protection. Residing next to the Brass Castle Market, you'll find this week's Wanderings photo. It's a quite a piece of Halloween art!

Centenary Stage Company’s staging of My Witch for its Fringe Festival is in its last week of production. As one audience member remarked, “You’ll feel as though you’re in the room with Margaret Hamilton herself!” This is also the last weekend for fall fun at various farms and the last weekend of the year to snag tickets to Camp Crystal Lake.

And if that's not enough, there's plenty of music, goat yoga and hometown happenings to go around! Take a gander and have a lovely Halloween weekend!

Happy All Hallows' Eve and Happy Wanderings!

VRI participants are expected to have a knowledge of the local area which could include any of the following qualifications: trail club member, state historic preservation office, land trust or other partner organization, academic professional, resident, trail enthusiast. Virtual meetings are scheduled 1-3pm on nine separate dates from Nov. 1-29, depending on the area of the trail, to discuss view importance ratings relative to viewpoints located within a specific geographic region.
