Veterans Day, which is this Sunday, originally was called Armistice Day and marked the end of World War I. This year we note the 100th anniversary since "the war to end all wars" (if only that had come to be!) ceased on Nov. 11, 1918. Warren County will mark this and honor all veterans with a public ceremony held at the Warren County War Memorial, pictured here at the County's annual Veterans Recognition Ceremony a few years ago. Join the Paulinskill Valley Trail Committee (PVTC) for a hike starting at Blairstown Airport in Blairstown, NJ. The PVTC, a Friends Organization of the Kittatinny Valley State Park, will host the hike. The length of the hike will be 4-5 miles.
