Warren County Wanderings

Starting November 29, 2017

“It is December, and nobody asked if I was ready.” - Sarah Kay, American poet

The new month arrives Friday, the holidays are around the corner, but don't panic! We are here to help you get ready! First, the tree. Warren County is "The Christmas Tree Belt" as the state's top producer of Jersey Fresh trees, plus our farms consistently win statewide and national honors for their quality. We kicked off the choose-and-cut season last week at an event at Mt. Bethel Christmas Tree Farm in Mansfield Township (that's a photo of it), and you can click to our guide to choose-and-cut farms here. Next, gifts! There are plenty of shopping events, craft shows, and workshops where you can make your own decorative items in this week's edition of Warren County Wanderings, plus you can click over to our Unique Holiday Gift Guide for more ideas. Then, entertainment! Centenary Stage Company's holiday spectacular Newsies The Musical is a hit and you'll find other shows for the whole family below. And it's Santa Time! so click to see where you can find the Big Guy. Read on, and Happy Wanderings!
