Warren County Wanderings

"Thanksgiving is a time of togetherness and gratitude." - Nigel Hamilton, British-born biographer

Wanderings is coming to you a day early this week, as checking email might not be your top priority on Thanksgiving eve. And while we don't like to rush things - really we don't - this weekend does officially kick off the holiday season and all that comes with it. Area Christmas tree farms will be open for business on Black Friday, the first of only four weekends to conquer that task this year! Click here for our list of farms here in the Christmas Tree Belt where you'll make family memories as you pick the perfect pine or a splendid spruce, like the gang in this photo courtesy of the New Jersey Christmas Tree Growers Association! Also, it's your last chance to make Thanksgiving dinner plans; we've included those listings in today's edition. And check the Plan Ahead section for all kinds of Christmas events coming our way next weekend. With gratitude, we wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving, and Happy Wanderings!
