"I am grateful for what I am and have. My thanksgiving is perpetual." - Henry David Thoreau, American essayist, poet, and practical philosopher
That's right! We still have another week to go before the actual Thanksgiving holiday, but we trust our Warren County Wanderers strive to be thankful every day. Or from a different perspective, there's only a week to go before Thanksgiving! Anyone interested in ordering pies better look sharp! Once again, we offer our annual Ideas for Thanksgiving Dinners and Desserts. (S)he who hesitates may be lost, as TODAY appears to be the deadline for ordering pies from some establishments. This week's feature photo is the pie showcase at Mackey's Orchard, which still has plenty of apples in stock if you prefer to do the baking yourself.
That said, read on for area happenings, whether you are in a Thanksgiving state of mind or not. Happy Wanderings!
