Warren County Wanderings

“We must have a pie. Stress cannot exist in the presence of a pie.” - David Mamet, Boston Marriage

Great idea! Let’s have some pie. With just one week until Thanksgiving, you should still have a couple of days to place orders, but don’t wait much longer!

This week’s photo is courtesy of Donaldson Farms in the Hackettstown area, and here are some other suggestions if you prefer to pick up - rather than bake - your desserts this year: Allie's Cupcakery & Café, Washington; Best’s Fruit Farm, Hackettstown; Buttercups Bake Shoppe, Stewartsville; Dalcourt's Desserts, Hackettstown; Florestano's Bakery, Washington; Gourmet Gallery, Blairstown; Mackey’s Orchard, Belvidere; Marshall’s Farm Market, Delaware; Tranquillity Farms, Andover; and TreeLicious Orchards & Just Made Bakery, Port Murray.

As usual, we encourage you to chart your own course if you have a better idea, and if we have neglected to include a bakery that should be on the list, please let us know!

Happy Beaver Moon partial lunar eclipse, and Happy Wanderings!
