This is National Veterans Awareness Week and with Veterans Day tomorrow, let's take a moment to thank all who served! See the More Things To Do section below for some events where you can thank them in person. Veterans Rally Point in Lopatcong Township Municipal Park is this week's cover photo. You could head to Shippen Manor on Sunday where they host Civil War Day and learn more about life during that conflict. You also could fall in love with Warren wines here in the federally-designated Warren Hills Viticultural Area, and we've got a flight of cultural events and live music for you to enjoy. Shippen Manor hosts Co. F of the 27th Regiment ("Bailey's Boys") for an on-site Winter Civil War Day! Company F will be on the east lawn of the Manor, resting from their long travels. The men will have two firing demonstrations for our visitors, at 12pm and 3pm.
