It's time to celebrate moms - wait, it's ALWAYS time to celebrate moms! - but Sunday is Mother's Day, and we've got some suggestions on where you can go to treat Mom on this particularly special occasion. Meanwhile, a brand new dock was dedicated this week at White Lake Natural Resource Area, Warren County's most visited county-owned park, with representatives from the Warren County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Hardwick Township, the Warren County Parks Foundation, and Ridge and Valley Conservancy. This week's featured photo, by Charles Fineran, depicts this beautiful spot and the dock, which is accessible to visitors with limited mobility and allows for the easier launching of kayaks and canoes by those who might have difficulty getting in from the shoreline, plus it provides new fishing opportunities for all.
