In honor of Memorial Day, Blairstown Historic Preservation Committee's final event of History Month 2018 is a tour and tribute to our Veterans who are interred at Cedar Ridge Cemetery. There are over three hundred Veterans who are buried here.
The Blairstown Memorial Day Parade is sponsored by Givens-Belet Post #258 American Legion. There will be a ceremony at Cedar Ridge Cemetery at noon with the parade to follow.
Phillipsburg honors our fallen service members , EMS/Fire volunteers, and Police. The parade starts at Abbott Street and proceeds to Shappell Park for a wreath laying and ceremony. It then continues to Union Square for a joint ceremony on the Free Bridge with Easton, PA.
Hosted by American Legion Blue Ridge Post 164, the 150th Annual Memorial Day Parade and Observance will run regardless of weather. The parade steps off at Valentine Street at 9:30am and proceed down Route 46 to Mountain Avenue, concluding with a service at Union Cemetery.
