Warren County Wanderings

"As America celebrates Memorial Day, we pay tribute to those who have given their lives in our nation's wars." - John M. McHugh (b. 1948), former congressman and 21st Secretary of the Army. Photo of the Phillipsburg and Easton ceremony courtesy of Lehigh Valley Live.

Memorial Day is the de facto start of the summer vacation season, but let's not forget the true reason for the holiday! Memorial Day commemorations can be found in the "Community Corner" section of this week's Wanderings. Meanwhile, season openers abound, including at Land of Make Believe, where they launch a new attraction that takes you through nature at this beautiful corner of the country. Talented young people trod the boards as Centenary Stage Company kicks off the Young Performers Workshop shows. And Millbrook Village flings into spring. There's lots to do over this three-day weekend, so read on! Thanks to all who visited the Explore Warren tent at Maifest last weekend and our table at the North River Business Network Expo last night, and a warm welcome to those joining the Wanderings fold! Have a great Memorial Day weekend, remember the fallen, and Happy Wanderings!
