Why yes, little Rocky, while the weather can't make up its mind, the flowers are flowering, blooms are blooming and spring events are arriving, like the Hackettstown Spring Festival, opening weekend for The Winery Train, the MWA Run for the River, and a Spring Hike and Writing Workshop with the Ridge and Valley Conservancy. Pushing Chain is an acoustic folky-tonk duo from Minnesota traveling the East Coast. Boyd Blomberg is on guitar and Adam Moe on fiddle providing exceptional vocal harmonies. The two have been making music together for over 20 years and are currently performing over 150 shows a year.

Hackettstown’s local radio station, WRNJ, will be broadcasting live from the Festival, providing a mix of music, interviews and fun with on-air personalities and staff. Mars Wrigley Confectionery will host their tried-and-true array of interactive activities, giving away plenty of their famous candy and snack products. In addition, Hackettstown Medical Center will feature a “Teddy Bear Hospital”. An array of food vendors will be on site offering classic carnival favorites along with healthier options.
