Warren County Wanderings

Question: What kind of clock is the hardest to change for Daylight Saving Time? Answer: A sundial.

Ha ha! We’re opening with a riddle for a change! While most of us probably aren’t too keen on losing an hour of sleep this weekend, the upshot is we get to enjoy more daylight before the sun goes down in the evening.

Things are certainly perking up all over the county, and this issue is full of activities and performances in which to partake if you choose. One major highlight is Hackettstown’s annual St. Patrick’s Parade, stepping off on March 12, where you can cheer on various bands, dance troupes and community groups – including our own Warren County Board of County Commissioners – along with about 14,000 other spectators! Not only is the event is pet-friendly, it features a pet costume contest!

So get scrolling, stay safe, and Happy Wanderings!
