Warren County Wanderings

“All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players.”- William Shakespeare, bard with a beard, English playwright, poet and actor.

As we dive into April, we’re reminded that everyone plays a part in the world, making this an excellent opportunity to enter stage right as Centenary Stage Company opens this week with Whippoorwill. Written by 2022 Pulitzer Prize for Drama nominee Ruth Kirschner, this story follows the life of a mother and a daughter’s quest for a straight answer to her father’s disappearance. CSC is also featuring Talk Back with a Playwright and a writing workshop, both with Ruth Kirschner.

Centenary University Admissions team will be offering campus tours this weekend, including dorms like the one pictured above.

Join Ridge and Valley Conservancy on an April Fool’s hike (it's really happening) at a newly acquired preserve in Hardwick with fellowship and food to follow. UACNJ’s out of this world astronomy presentations will be live and in person this weekend at Jenny Jump State Forest.

And Easter is right around the corner so be sure to look at Plan Ahead and keep an eye out for our Easter issue.

Get out and enjoy this first weekend of April. Happy Wanderings!
