There's a proverbial pot o' St. Paddy's events on the schedule, Centenary Stage Company kicks off their 2017 Dance Festival with a performance AND a workshop open to all dancers, a guided hike lets you can search for the rainbow's end, and as always, lots of live music. Coming Up

Bring a bottle of wine to sip, and an empty one to paint! During this workshop we will be using recycled wine bottles & transform them into artistic masterpieces. $35/person.

4pm - Beginner: Students are introduced to the practice of yoga through a safe and effective Gentle Yoga Basics series. Each session is 60 minutes in length.

Centenary University’s Gates-Ferry Distinguished Visiting Lecturer, Mikki Taylor, will conduct a presentation “How to Manage, Maneuver, and Position Brand You.”  This event is free and open to the public, at 7 p.m.

WCARTS will host artist Anju Saran at their May 11th meeting. Anju has been drawn to art ever since she was a little child. She has gained expertise in various mediums such as Acrylic, Oil, Watercolor, Pastel and Charcoal.

Jazz at Rutherfurd Hall: on Sunday, March 26, The Chico Mendoza Latin Jazz Sextet will swing into play providing a powerful program of Latin rhythm and featuring saxophone, trumpet and vibraphone in the ensemble. The audience will want to dance as the rhythm is so intense.

Centenary Stage Company’s 2017 Dance Festival continues with a celebration of the 10 year anniversary of Moe-tion Dance Theater on Sunday, March 26 at 4pm in the Lackland Performing Arts Center.

Celebrate the release of the new CD "Whiskey & Women" by Don Kincaid and The Wait with a concert at Roy's Hall. Doors open at 7:30, showtime at 8pm.
