Warren County Wanderings

"Summertime is always the best of what might be." - Charles Bowden (1945-2014), American non-fiction author, journalist and essayist

We celebrate Summer Solstice this Friday, and it looks like the weather is finally going cooperate in time for the weekend! Highlights include two events at Waterloo Village - Canal Day and a Food Truck & Music Festival; Garden Tours of Pohatcong and Belvidere; and Phillipsburg's Ole Towne Festival, which gets credit for the photo above, a couple of bros getting ready to compete in the festival's Hot Dog Eating Contest sponsored by Jimmy's Doggie Stand! If you go, stop by the Explore Warren tent to say hello!

Details are below, along with loads of other happenings worthy of your attention. Happy Summer, and Happy Wanderings!

P.S. - Best wishes to Dawn S. of Budd Lake, who won a pair of tickets to Nunsense at Centenary Stage Company (See, stopping by to visit us at festivals pays off!) Cheers!
