Warren County Wanderings

Father's Day is hopefully a time when the culture says, 'This is our moment to look at who our men and boys are.' - Michael Gurian, American author and social philosopher.

Another quote that comes to mind is courtesy of Jennifer Lopez: "Love Don't Cost a Thing."  No need to break the bank to celebrate Dad; how about a nice hike - like the one depicted above courtesy of Cortney Torres - taken at Merrill Creek Reservoir, where boating is also permitted free of charge. The free Summer Lawn Concert Series begins this Sunday at Shippen Manor, and scroll down for a couple of anniversary celebrations with no admission charge. And for our locals, Summer Reading kicks off next week in all Warren County Library branches.

Read on for plenty of other suggestions! Happy Father's Day, and Happy Wanderings!
