Starting July 6, 2017

We are in full-blown summer mode now. Looking for things to do, looking for ways to keep cool, looking for where to wander! Why, right here in Warren County, where you can take the kids to Land of Make Believe amusement park in Hope, which includes the Pirate's Cove waterpark pictured above. Or book tickets for a train ride along the scenic Delaware River, including the special excusions this weekend and next with Thomas the Tank Engine (read on for details). And don't forget to plan ahead for the upcoming Warren County Farmers' Fair - see the More Things to Do section below so you can line up tickets for all the special events, and see which fair contests you want to enter. Coming Up

Think succulents or ferns and ivy creating a living piece of art on your wall! Living Wall Frame Workshop conducted in our greenhouse workshop space. This class does have a $25 registration fee which includes the frame, soil and instruction.

A family event that offers children and their grownups the opportunity to ride with classic storybook friend Thomas the Tank Engine. Parents, grandparents and siblings join their aspiring engineers in the fun. The Day Out With Thomas experience will engineer miles of smiles for the whole family and introduce a new generation to the timeless excitement of railroading.

Join us for this very special event! The dinner - served between 6-8pm - will consist of authentic Ghanaian food, cooked by Ghanaian members of Ghana 4E. After dinner, Sampson Oboh of Ghana 4E’s Ghanian Team will share a bit about Ghana and his journey to help his people.

Wilbur's has been hosting craft fairs for 36 years! The fair features forty-or-so craftspeople and artists from four states, held in charming country setting. Crafts include, jewelry, pottery, quilting, folk art, dolls. Decorative signs and country wood items, silk and dried flower arrangements, stained glass creations, pillows, toys, children’s clothes, bird houses and much, much, more.

Spend an afternoon visiting the Jim and Mary Lee Museum at Plane 9 West in the Port Warren Heritage Area, Stewartsville, and the Warren County History Museum at Morris Canal Bread Lock Park in New Village, too. These two museums, both located at sites on the route of the old Morris Canal, are open and staffed by volunteers today, 1-4pm. Learn how the canal boats moved up and down the hills of northern New Jersey as they traversed the state from from Port Delaware – AKA Phillipsburg – to Jersey City. Walk the towpath trail, and learn about other aspects of Warren County's rich history.

Let's get groovy in the gazebo with Monkey Monkey Music! Kids, families, and friends, please come and enjoy the energy and original music of NYC's very own! You might recognize them from PBS, where their music and videos are featured.
