It's lavender time! The picturesque plant is in full bloom in this photo from Cortney Torres and Orchard View Lavender Farm has some events this weekend where you can enjoy the fragrance and color. Coming Up

Time Why?s perform the great music of the '60s, recreating those captivating times when songs by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and The Who filled the airwaves. Funding has been made possible, in part, by the Warren County Cultural and Heritage Division of Land Preservation.

Ever wanted to learn how to fish? Learn about fish biology and identification, casting techniques, equipment, knot tying and more. Discussions will be followed by an actual trout fishing experience in their Education Pond. This program is geared for ages 8 years and above.

Learn how to tell stories with the same visual language used in film, animation, and comics! Visuals are universal and can reach everyone. Scott Hanna, world renowned comic book artist, will show all attendees how to use artwork to communicate and enhance a story.

Truth & Soul will be performing at the Phillipsburg Summer Concert Series which is known mostly for their unique song selection, tight vocal harmonies, and small but mighty horn section!

Need to do some stretching? Then, join yoga teacher Kate McGuinness for gentle stretching exercises and meditation at White Lake. One time $20 donation entitles you to participate in all four scheduled classes.

The Emmy Award winning '70s Saturday morning cartoon series that taught history, grammar, math, science and politics through clever, tuneful songs is instructing a whole new generation to "Unpack Your Adjectives and do "The Circulations"!

Jenel Schaffer- Artist and Herbalist will be returning to Orchard View Lavender Farm this summer for a Plein Air (outdoor) painting event. The event will be in class format, and instructive as well as creative. We will be painting with Watercolor paints on Watercolor paper.

Summer Nights on the Farm is Friday night neighborhood favorite featuring farm-fresh food, live music, kid activities, and good friends! Bring your own picnic blanket, favorite lawn chair, and beverage.

Poor Man's Gambit is a trio of traditional artists comprised of Corey Purcell (button accordion, cittern, vocals, bodhran, dance), Federico Betti (guitar, fiddle), and Deirdre Lockman (fiddle, vocals, dance). Building on their roots as traditional Irish musicians, the trio's repertoire is also influenced by traditional music of other cultures including France, Scotland, England, and America, some of which can be heard on their latest release 'Kind Providence' along with several original tunes. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket, pack a picnic if you like, and relax and enjoy!

Attention Children ages 9-13: Play some classic games like Capture the Flag, kickball, dodgeball, Monopoly, Risk, Stratego and Clue! Mornings will be spent outdoors with organized and referred sports games. Later, you will be indoors and play board games.

A certified lifeguard and boating instructor will teach campers everything from basic boat safety to how to steer using different strokes, and even some rescue techniques.

Nunsense begins when the Little Sisters of Hoboken discover that their cook, Sister Julia, Child of God, has accidentally poisoned 52 of the sisters, and they are in dire need of funds for the burials. The sisters decide that the best way to raise the money is to put on a variety show, so they take over the school auditorium, which is currently set up for the eighth grade production of “Grease.” Here we meet Reverend Mother Regina, a former circus performer; Sister Mary Hubert, the Mistress of Novices; a streetwise nun from Brooklyn named Sister Robert Anne; Sister Mary Leo, a novice who is a wannabe ballerina; and the delightfully wacky Sister Mary Amnesia, the nun who lost her memory when a crucifix fell on her head. Featuring star turns, tap and ballet dancing, an audience quiz, and comic surprises, this show has become an international phenomenon.

Saturday evenings between April and October 2019, the United Astronomy Clubs of New Jersey (UACNJ) Observatory, located in Jenny Jump State Forest in Hope, NJ will be open.

Parents can enjoy a morning off while their kids enjoy a fun and educational morning filled with healthy activities and cooking! Class will include 25 minutes of fitness activities followed by recipe review, grocery shopping skills, nutrition lessons, food preparation and a healthy lunch.

MUSIC IS BACK at FSW! All tables are set up for appropriate social distance and the event will be conducted with CDC standards. From Billy Joel to Elton John to the Eagles, Dylan Carter plays a variety of styles that we like to affectionately call classic rock. Reservations required.
