Warren County Wanderings

Starting July 15, 2020

"Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow. It's what sunflowers do." - Helen Keller (1880-1968), American author, political activist, and lecturer. She was the first deaf-blind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Good advice from Helen Keller, and if you would like to visit the field depicted in the photo above, lifted from Von Thun Farms, click on the first item below for details. Yes, dear Wanderers, gardens and farm stands are bursting with fresh, glorious produce! Check out this Jersey Fresh availability chart to see what you can expect to find out there. Berries are reportedly abundant at most farms, with Donaldson Farms and Von Thun currently offering pick-your-own raspberries. If you feel ready to venture out for a bit out outdoor, live music this weekend, you will see you have plenty of options!

Happy mid-July, and Happy Wanderings!
