January Jaunts Starting January 5, 2023

Warren County Wanderings

“Be at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let every new year find you a new man.” - Ben Franklin, a founding father of the United States, writer, scientist, inventor, printer, publisher, and political philosopher.

It is indeed a new year and while some businesses have taken some much needed time off after the holidays, this week’s Wanderings features classes and presentations designed to help you learn something new - a great new year’s resolution to pursue! Live music also continues in the month of January, at taverns, wineries, coffee shops, and at Centenary Stage Company, where the January Thaw Music Festival will heat things up soon.

Keep an eye on the Explore Warren calendar as it's starting to populate. The fun never stops in this county! And don't forget to look for the first full moon of the year this weekend. Plus, it's snow geese season! We may not have much snow but we've got the geese, and their annual visit is always a thrill as they gather in huge flocks. A smaller group is seen in White Township a couple days ago in today's opening photo.

Happy first full weekend of 2023 and Happy Wanderings!
