Warren County Wanderings

Starting January 31, 2018

“If winter comes, can spring be far behind?”  - Percy Bysshe Shelley, Ode to the West Wind

Instead of some wintry scenery, we'll start this week's edition of Wanderings with an image of summer's bounty, this one courtesy of Von Thun Farms in Washington. Why? Well, Friday is the day our favorite marmot meteorologist lets us know whether to expect six more weeks of  Winter, or if Spring arrives in 46 days (spoiler alert: it will). And then summer will follow before you know it. So now is the time to sign up for a Community Supported Agriculture program to assure you can partake in all the goodness of the garden, grown and raised right here in Warren County. See the More Things to Do section below for details. And on the way, peruse all that's coming up, including Groundhog and Super Bowl bashes, concerts, art events, and much more. Plus, Valentine's Day is coming - make those plans now! Happy Wanderings!
