“Nothing burns like the cold.” — George R.R. Martin, American writer of fantasy, horror, and science fiction best known for A Song of Ice and Fire series, which HBO made into a TV series called Game of Thrones.

The cold may burn, but it seems to produce some glorious sunsets in the crisp air. As the winter storms keep coming, catching a sunset or sunrise let's us know each day is a gift and should be lived to the fullest. This week's cover photo, taken in Blairstown, is no exception.

Shake the chill off with samples of two savory soups with complimentary wine pairings. Butternut squash soup will be served with samples of 3 white wines. Roasted red pepper soup will be served with samples of 2 red wines. Besame, our chocolate infused port-style wine, will be sampled alone.

February is the month of Romance and Four Sisters Winery will recognize each Saturday of February as “Cupid’s Day”. Bring someone special with you and enjoy a wine tasting of up to 9 wines featuring a pairing of chocolate with three of the wines.

Are you ready for a stomping good time? Well, now is your chance to be a part of an exclusive social event at Four Sisters Winery. The Barefoot Grape Stomping is a one-of-a-kind experience; surely to intoxicate all your senses. It's a unique opportunity you don’t want to miss!

Join in celebrating the past and helping to shape the future with a Black History celebration at Kids R People 2 Spa and Lounge. This event is free and Covid- 19 protocols will be followed.

Spend part of your afternoon at Brook Hollow Winery and Event Facility for live music Saturday (Scott Messina) and Sunday (George Baier).

This weekend marks the release of a 2015 Vintage Port Wine. Saturday February 20 and Sunday February 21 will each have seatings of 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Each seating will last an hour and a half and reservations are required. Other Alba events may be enjoyed as well.
