Warren County Wanderings

Starting February 19, 2020

"Nourish the body, feed the soul." - unknown

Next week ushers in the Christian season of Lent, and while we may not all observe this tradition, it is a good excuse to indulge in some satisfying, nourishing food now through "Fat Tuesday" - like pancakes at Belvidere's Episcopal Church of St. Luke and St. Mary or fried chicken in this photo from Celestine's Catering Company - and then perhaps reflect and focus on things (other than food) that bring meaning and joy to our lives. Happy Mardi Gras and Happy Wanderings!

Continuing

This weekend is your last chance to see Centenary Stage Company’s well-received production of Neil Simon’s The Sunshine Boys continues through March 1, as a grudging reunion between two vaudevillians whose 40-year partnership broke up acrimoniously brings a flood of memories, miseries, and laughs.
