It's the most wonderful time of the year, as the song goes, and it's nearly here! This lovely photo of the Live Nativity at the recent Hope Lantern Tour, courtesy of Parashoot Productions, should put you in the holiday mood if you aren't already. So should the events you'll find below. And one final reminder, if you're still hoping to fill your home with the wonderful scent of a Jersey Fresh Christmas tree, here's a link to where you'll find the best ones around. The Harmonia Chamber Players will perform Vivadi's "Winter" and other Baroque Christmas Music. Soloists of the virtuoso string ensemble are Garry Ianco, Victor Costanzi, and Carolyn Cole, violins. All are renowned soloists from New Jersey and the New York area.

Even though winter solstice is near, our meadow is full of life. Before we go into winter dormancy, join us for a walk through our native meadow. Learn about meadows in dormancy, signs of life in winter, and meet fellow native plant lovers.

The PVTC, a Friends Organization of the Kittatinny Valley State Park, will host a 4-5 mile hike along the Paulinskill Valley Trail.  The trail is cinder-based which provides easy, level walking.  Meeting at Footbridge Park in Blairstown.
