There's so much going on, and we want to get back to the Warren County Farmers' Fair to enjoy more fair fun (and fair food!) so we'll keep this short! You never know who or what you'll see at the Fair! Here's Ed Goldberg of the Odessa Klezmer Band, who comes up every year to stroll around the fairgrounds and serenade us. A trio of traditional artists comprised of Corey Purcell (button accordion, cittern, vocals, bodhran, dance), Dylan Richardson (guitar, tenor banjo, bouzouki, vocals), and Genevieve Gillespie (fiddle, vocals, dance), they were all raised in the US but brought up on the traditional music of Ireland. In fact, the band's roots can be traced to the early '90s when Gillespie and Purcell met in Irish dance class at the age of five. Their repertoire also is influenced by traditional music of other cultures including France, Scotland, England, and America.

Libraries Rock! The Warren County Library summer reading program begins June 18 at all library locations. Reading over the summer helps kids be better prepared for school in the fall by avoiding the "summer slide" and perform better in school overall.
