Warren County Wanderings

Starting April 4, 2018

Sweet April showers do spring May flowers. - Thomas Tusser (1524-1580), English poet and farmer.

As we struggle to find spring-like weather, we can celebrate its arrival in other ways! Warren County history museums will be open to visitors this weekend, with Shippen Manor and the Jim and Mary Lee Museum (seen in photo above) reopening after hibernating for the winter; and United Astronomy Clubs of New Jersey debuts its weekly Saturday Speaker Program for 2018 at Jenny Jump State Forest.

Other highlights include the world premiere of Hitler's Tasters at Centenary Stage Company, opening April 6; Raymond the Amish Comic returns to Mountain Lake; Neil Young Tribute Band, Sugar Mountain, comes to Roy's Hall; and Gloria Tramontin will be signing her book at Tramontin Harley-Davidson on Sunday.

Read on for much more, and locals should keep an eye on the Community Corner section for items of interest. Happy April, and Happy Wanderings!
