Spring has sprung, for sure! The weather has been a bit drab, but trees are blossoming and flowers are flowering, making it a colorful time for wandering in Warren County. The Warren County Community Singers present this year’s Springfest of Music concert on two days - April 29 and 30 - in two locations. The concerts also feature the Children’s Chorus of Warren County, and a performance by one of the Warren County music scholarship winners. This year’s Springfest features some unusual selections, such as Jabberwocky, based on the Lewis Carroll poem. The Saturday concert is in Phillipsburg.
The United Astronomy Clubs of New Jersey provides free public programs at the UACNJ Observatory in Jenny Jump State Forest from April through October on Saturday evenings. This week's program is: "Exoplanet Discovery" with Joshua Pepper, Lehigh U.
