Warren County Wanderings

Starting April 18, 2018

"In the Spring, I have counted 136 different kinds of weather inside of 24 hours." - Mark Twain

Usually, we like to start our weekly Wanderings with a lovely photo of some beautiful Warren County scenery, encouraging you to get outdoors and enjoy our bucolic backyard here in the garden spot of the Garden State. But these times are anything but usual, and Mr. Twain's quote has never been more apt. So instead of looking outdoors, we'll encourage you to stay indoors! Head for the Kutz Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center in Hackettstown to catch one of the final performances of the fantastic world premiere play Hitler's Tasters, pictured here. Details are below. Or maybe take in one of this weekend's concert offerings, like Jason Eady at Roy's Hall or Tony DeSare at Rutherfurd Hall. Still, there's a chance it could brighten up by the weekend, so read on for more indoor and outdoor options, including Earth Day events, a food truck and wine festival, a farm open house, and so much more! Happy Wanderings!
