Summer is whizzing by! Rather than lament, let us take time to literally stop and smell the flowers – and the tomatoes and peaches and corn, etc. – as we progress through August in Warren County. There is so much to see and do, so let’s get Wandering!

Relax and enjoy outdoor dining and live music while surrounded by the stunning views of Donaldson's. James on Main, Czig Meister and Va Fa Napoli Pizza Truck will be on site as well.

Cindy and Kristie Von Thun will be your instructors going over the basics of flower arranging which will include cutting your own summer flowers and sunflowers for your own arrangement, and get to work on creating a one-of-a-kind bouquet to take home and admire all week long!

Bring your chairs/blankets, snacks and good vibes to this free outdoor performance by Sarah Lanier & Carl Palmeri hosted by the Community Center!

Join Czig Meister under the tent for a one-of-a-kind Silent Disco Night! Dance the night away outdoors with wireless headphones and multiple music channels to choose from—all in the fresh summer air. Grab a drink, pick your vibe, and let the good times roll.

Tranquillity Farms, Marketspace Vendor Events, and Czig Meister Brewing has fun for all ages with a sunflower trail, food trucks and live music.

A day of free community fun at the Borough Park & Pool Stadium featuring a vintage game with 19th century rules from the 1800s. Game starts at 1pm; food trucks 12-6pm. Grab the family, invite some friends and let us take you out to the ball game.

Cousins Maine Lobster will be at Invertase all day! Grab some lobster and enjoy a great beer!

Sunset concert at the View. Food truck: Clam Jam Boil & BBQ. This is the same date as Harmony Township Community Day, so fireworks should be visible at dusk!

Learn about the history of Millbrook Village and the surrounding area through ranger-led tours of this 19th century village.

Come out to Classic Ballroom Dance Studio for a fun afternoon of music and dancing at a Swing Party featuring the talented Mechanic Street Blues Project Band! Bring your energy, your friends, and your best moves for a great time!

Join Staci at Czig Meister for a wooden sign paint & sip. You’ll be painting a beautiful wood sign to take home and no experience is needed, just love, laughter, and a pint of beer. Tickets include 1 beer and only 20 spots available.

Join the knowledgeable staff and volunteers at the Pequest Natural Resource Education Center and learn some fishing basics. Staff will talk about the history and use of the hatchery, safety and ethics of fishing. They will go over equipment and how it is used.

Propagate Studio is cleaning out their closets to make room for more art supplies and you're invited to shop the yard sale! If you would like to participate, check out the website. 

Longmeadow Farm will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 9-5 and will showcase early varieties Gala and Macintosh ready for picking!
 

Held at the scenic Warren County Fairgrounds, the event offers a weekend in the country shopping for the best in antiques. Delicious food, free parking, easy access and much more make this the "show of shows" for all who love antiques.

Made up of the four section leaders of the New Sussex Symphony, the Loni Bach Quartet features principal cellist Loni Pilshaw Bach, principal violist, Laura Schock Lopez, principal violinist, Chryselle Angderson Yang and principal second violinist Emily Gaab Moorhead.

This scholarship fund was established to help Belvidere High School seniors fund their post-secondary education in memory of Brian Duckworth, a long-time Warren County Buildings and Grounds employee who succumbed to cancer in 2013 at age 51.

Summerfest 2025 comes to a finale worth seeing with comedian Paula Poundstone! Tickets $35-$40.

It took one band member’s love of The Beatles and the rest of the bands’ love of the Blues to formulate one of the most entertaining performances in the world today. Their sound is intimately appealing but at the same time powerful and infectious.

JUN 7- NATIONAL TRAILS DAY HIKE - Blairstown Airport. From 10 - 2pm, come visit the Paulinskil Valley's exhibit at the Blairstown Airport in honor of National Trails Day celebration. 

Have you wanted to get into fly fishing but didn’t know where to start?  Join the staff at the Pequest Natural Resource Education Center for a full-day Fly Fishing Bootcamp.  We will cover everything from regulations, gear, casting, where to go, and much more.

Author Linda Barth presents technological marvels, odd inventions, trailblazing characters and important discoveries made in New Jersey from her book, "New Jersey Originals." This is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

 

Lisa Desire of Prime Suspect is back, hosting a thrilling evening of fun on the farm while participants unlock another mystery - Torture in the Orchard - by learning and using real forensics! It would be a crime to miss this unique opportunity! $75/person includes buffet dinner.

Celebrate Belvidere's Heritage and History! Things to see and do at Victorian Day include a vintage car show, historical walking tour at your own pace, Plein Air art competition, Garden Tea Party (tickets required) and the opportunity to stroll through Garret D.

Celebrate August with a Sunflower Fest every weekend at VonThun Farms, featuring a different theme, such as fruit, brews, flowers and more! Bring your lawn chair and blanket and enjoy delicious food from a lineup of food trucks, live music, games and activities for all ages!

UACNJ provides free public programs at the astronomy club in Jenny Jump State Forest from April through October on Saturday evenings.

Tuesdays are for dancing! Come out to Tiptons for drink and tacos specials every Tuesday along with DJ Dave Ruppell spinning the tunes. 

Barnyard Buddies is a program that was designed for kids ages 2 and up who have an interest in farm life and love the outdoors.

Join Amanda for an all-levels led yoga class on the upper lawn of Rutherfurd Hall. Bring your mat, a towel, water, and a friend.

May through September, Brook Hollow is making Saturdays even better with live music (no cover!), a tasty food truck, and your favorite Brook Hollow wines. Grab a cozy seat around the fire pit (first come, first served), or reserve a spot on our covered porch for a more intimate vibe.

Come out to Zeek's Place for the 2025 season of Cruise Night with Blood Moon Performance automotive. This event is once a month and open to all types of cars, from classic to modern muscle, tuners and trucks. Lot fills up quickly.

Community Corner

Celebrate community! Kids activities, tethered balloons, food trucks, car show, vendors, live music (3-7pm), fireworks at dusk. No rain date. 

Join in the fun at Mt. Lake Firehouse for Liberty's Community Day live music from the Bobby Clark band, hot dog eating contest, face painting, games, food and more! Fireworks at the end of the night.

Phillipsburg's Open Air Market is in its fourth year, and changes are occurring! As of August 9, 2025, the market moved from Shappell Park to Riverside Way near the "Free Bridge" connecting Phillipsburg and Easton, and is held on Saturday from 9am-1pm (formerly Sunday). Enjo

The Blairstown Farmers' Market is in their 18th season with your favorite local farmers, food producers and vendors!

Held each Saturday in downtown Washington borough through September 27, the market runs along Route 57, anchored in the Pocket Park located at 44 E. Washington Ave.

Enjoy Washington's Summer Music Series while you're at the farmers' market! 

Hackettstwon welcomes the 2nd Annual West End Farmers Market opening May 4 and runs every Sunday until Oct. 26 from 9:30am-1pm.

Food, drinks, rides, activities for kids and adults, live music, exhibitors, Car and Bike Show, fireworks at dusk! Previoulsy scheduled for a week earlier, but will occur on the Rain date of Sept. 13.
