Warren County Wanderings

Be cool paddling on one of the many rivers and lakes in Warren County as you wander this weekend! You can cap your free time with a Sunset Paddle on White Lake this Sunday evening - read on for details. Shippen Manor Summer Lawn Concert Series

Bring lawn chairs or a blanket, pack a picnic if you like, and relax and enjoy a variety of  live musical performances - FREE- all summer long on the lawn of Shippen Manor.

Paddle around the lake in kayaks and canoes provided by RVC (or bring your own). Enjoy the beauty of the lake at sunset. Bring a picnic, relax on the shore. This is a FREE event. Meet at the White Lake main parking lot on Stillwater Road (County Route 521), Hardwick NJ

We are very excited to announce that we will be hosting a Family Movie Night on the Lawn at Rutherfurd Hall thanks to the sponsorship of Village Family Clinic and Super Stuff. The movie will be on Monday, August 15 with a rain date of August 16 at dusk (probably around 8:30).

Centennial of Alton Hester's 1916 Journey on the Morris Canal

The Warren County Morris Canal Committee is commemorating Alton Hester's historic 1916 trip along the Morris Canal with a slack-water journey open to all paddlers from Lock 4 West ("Elsie's") to Lock 5 West (Saxton Falls).

A two-day show held mid-August at the Warren County Fairgrounds in Harmony Township, featuring 150 dealers offering a wide variety of antiques including primitive items, Victorian and other rare pieces, furniture, jewelry, pottery, toys and even a blacksmith and a ceramics restoration expert.

Vintage North Jersey, a collaboration of northern New Jersey wineries, announces its 3rd annual Wine & Food Festival to be held at one of the oldest north Jersey wineries – Four Sisters Winery.
