The professional non-profit theatre Centenary Stage Company has announced its 2020/21 season. The season features the Professional Theatre Series, Fringe Festival, NEXTstage Repertory, the January Jam and other concerts that showcase top tier musical talent from across the country, as well as the return of the annual Women’s Playwrights Series plus a vast array of professional dance concerts.

Centenary Stage Company's critically acclaimed Young Performers Workshop is now seeking new and returning applicants for the 2020 Summer Session. This session, a special 5-week online program runs July 13 through August 16 and will culminate with a week of online cabaret performances. Due to the social distancing, health and safety regulations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the program will now be held online.

Following guidance from the White House, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and state and local public health authorities, Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area is increasing recreational access in some areas of the park. The National Park Service (NPS) is working with federal, state, and local public health authorities to closely monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and is using a phased approach to increase access.

The Centenary Stage Company, a not-for-profit professional theatre company in residency on the campus of Centenary University in Hackettstown, NJ, has teamed up with WisEngineering, LLC and the larger 3D printing community to produce 3D printed personal protective equipment (PPE) for local healthcare and first responder personnel on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area is announcing additional modifications to operations to support federal, state, and local efforts to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Public restrooms, volunteer and partner-operated buildings and the visitor information desk at Bushkill Meeting Center are closed, and while most of park’s outdoor spaces remain accessible to the public, the Kittatinny Point area in New Jersey, including the parking lots and the picnic area, will be closed until further notice as of 8 a.m. on Friday, March 27.  Additionally, Worthington State Forest and the New Jersey Department of Transportation will close the state-owned parking areas on the westbound side of Interstate 80, including the Dunnfield Parking Area.

SUNDAY'S PARADE HAS BEEN POSTPONED. A NEW DATE WILL BE ANNOUNCED. The Hackettstown Business Improvement District is bringing the 12th Annual St. Patrick’s Parade to town, Sunday, March 15, 2020. This Irish-American tradition attracts more than 14,000 visitors – making this parade one of the biggest events in Hackettstown. Streets fill with enthusiasm as families, residents and visitors line up along the curb, in store windows and porches to celebrate and witness the festive parade.
