A free event, open to the public, the Hackettstown Historical Society invites everyone to learn about colonial taverns of New Jersey. These establishments served as community and communication hubs as well as temporary government sites during the American Revolution.
Participants will explore the unique, mysterious and peculiar side of New Jersey though an enlightening presentation focusing on the uniquely strange aspects of the Warren County area.
Fun for levels, ages 12 and older! $15/person in advance, $20 at the door. Held in the school's cafeteria with refreshments available for purchase. Dress code: Western casual.

His beloved wife Mary and the great Sherlock Holmes are both gone. But London seethes with false reports and rumors. It is time to set the record straight and Watson is telling his tale of long buried secrets, betrayal, and death. Someone is playing a long game and Holmes and Watson face their greatest ever challenge.
This evening book club will meet on the first Thursday of every month to discuss one of the classics, the first of which will be chosen at the first meeting. Light refreshments will be provided. Open to adults only. Registration is required.
