UACNJ provides free public programs at the astronomy club in Jenny Jump State Forest from April through October on Saturday evenings. The live presentation is followed by stargazing on the telescopes until 10:30 PM, weather permitting.

Phillipsburg's first open air market will have their Grand Opening June 18 with a garland cutting. There will be vendors, baked goods, farms and artisans.

The iconic award-winning amusement park in Hope, NJ is open this weekend and inviting dads to come hang out. Dads get in free when accompanying a child.
The menu includes suckling pulled pork, baby back ribs, baked ziti, baked beans, cole slaw, and a Caesar Salad. Dessert will be lemon sheet cake smothered with fresh strawberries and whip cream. Live music is provided by The Norton Smull Band playing rock, blues, and country.

Shippen Manor Summer Lawn Concert series kicks off the season with The Lost Ramblers, an authentic Appalachian Bluegrass band that has been performing regionally and nationally for more than 30 years. The series continues June 25 with Gypsy Folk & Hot Jazz from Pyrenesia. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, and a picnic is you like, and enjoy the free concert!

Little Learning Farmers is a child-and-adult activity session happening on Tuesdays in the summer unless otherwise stated. It's perfect for parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles, and their Little Farmer(s) to enjoy a fun and educational morning on the farm.

Free kayak rentals are being offered every Tuesday, May through September at White Lake. There are a limited number of kayaks so reservations are required. Please call 908-763-1760. Life vests and paddles are included.
