The Musconetcong Watershed Association's next River Talk, a virtual event, features Corey Tierney, Director of the Warren County Land Preservation Department, as guest speaker. This presentation will provide an overview of Warren County’s farmland, open space, and historic preservation efforts. Notable projects within the Musconetcong Watershed will be highlighted, such as the Waterloo Valley Trail Bridge, Mount Rascal Park, Riverfront Park, Port Murray Park, Wattles Stewardship Center, multiple preserved farms, the River Resource Center, and the historic Asbury Mill. There will also be helpful information for landowners who are looking to preserve their land and tips for residents who wish to support these endeavors. Also, mark your calendar for the MWA's Annual Meeting on March 31, 6pm at Hawk Pointe Golf Club. It's their 30th anniversary, and the MWA Board, staff and guests will provide anecdotes on where they've been as well as updates on where the organization is going.
