Ever wonder what dropping a pumpkin from 75 feet would look like? Here’s your chance, with some help from the Washington Fire Department. Food trucks, a beer garden and fun activities for the kids including a costume parade. Also, celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Beatles' Abbey Road album release by recreating the album cover. From 2-4pm, pose in the crosswalk at Belvidere Avenue and Church Street for Cathy Miller Photography, as musical duo Janci & Berry plays nothing but Beatles songs from a nearby front porch. Get a group of 4 and dress like the Beatles, walk your dog, push a stroller, hold your Abby Road album; get creative and have some fun!
We are very excited to be bringing a special wildlife art show to the Brook Hollow Winery on Sunday, October 27 from noon to 5 or so! Please save the date and join us for original art and reproductions. Carol Decker will also be signing two of her art labels on wine, reds and whites.
