Miriam loves to bake apple pies and today she has a special request to make her signature recipe. But this day is going to be different, because Miriam has decided that this will be the last apple pie she ever bakes. "Apples in Winter" is a moving play about the lifetime journey of a mother and son. As she begins to make the pie (which will happen on stage), she realizes it will be the last act of love to a man for whom love wasn't enough. This show, part of the National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere program, is getting rave reviews so don't miss one of the five final performances!
Matt Vashlishan was part of the Phil Woods Big Band and has taken the reins to continue Phil's legacy with The Water Gap Jazz Orchestra. Matt has shared the stage with other greats, from jazz pros like Bill Goodwin and Phil Markowitz, to Steve Miller, Bruce Hornsby, Gary Campbell and many others.
