Free of charge and held rain or shine, this event is great for people of all ages, with numerous environmental and conservation exhibits, historical reenactors, wildlife artists, carvers and taxidermists with goods and services to sell. Activities include fishing for kids between the ages of 4 and 16, archery ranges for those 10 years and older, hunter education (pre-registration required), and more. A sportsmen's flea market will be open so you can purchase what you need to get started or to stock up for the upcoming fishing and hunting seasons.

Beginning in April, RVC will offer a free weekly youth fishing program known as “Hooked on Fishing not on Drugs (HOFNOD)”. This community program offered to students, ages 12-15yrs old, will run 4/10 - 6/14 (Spring Session) and 6/19- 8/30 (Summer Session), every Tuesday and Thursday, 3:30pm-6pm.
