Shippen Manor is holding a special Encore Tour for its Candlelight Victorian Christmas tours, with three time slots available by reservation only on Dec. 18, 2022.
The Candlelight Victorian Christmas Tours at the Manor scheduled for Dec. 4 and 11 were quickly filled, leading to the Encore Tour. Hourly spots are 1, 2 and 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 18. Docents will discuss Victorian Christmas traditions during a candlelight tour of main floor.
Enter through the ADA museum entrance on the boardwalk along the manor. There is limited on-site parking, with accessible parking in the Belvidere Avenue parking area nearest the boardwalk. The back parking area also is available with limited spaces. The driveway is a one-way only (enter upper drive, exit lower). Please drive carefully and yield to pedestrians.

Shippen Manor is a c.1754 iron master’s residence built by Dr. William Shippen, Sr. The Shippens were socially prominent members of a wealthy Philadelphia family. The museum offers guided tours on the 1st and 2nd Sundays from May to December, except on holidays. Admission is free (donations to our Friends group are welcome).
