The Yarn Shop at Kathy’s Kove & Kafe’ is holding Knitting and Crochet Classes for Beginners and Knitting and Crochet Classes for Intermediates on Wednesdays and Sundays for the month of October.
Kris Ensiminger of Humdinger Alpacas will teach Beginners on Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Gerrie Scioscio will teach Intermediates on Sundays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The Beginner class offers a 3-week program, on Wednesdays, Oct. 9, 16 and 23. You will learn the basics of knit and crochet and bring a finished project home with you. Cost is $75.
The Intermediate class offers a 4-week program on Sundays, Oct. 6, 13, 20, and 27. You will increase your knowledge and skills by learning various approaches and patterns. At the end of the program, you will have a finished project to take home. Cost of the class is $85.
Knitting needles, crochet hooks and one skein of yarn as well as complimentary tea from the Tearoom at Kathy’s Kove & Kafe’ will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own gear if you prefer.
