River Talk: Life of a Nature Trail hosted by Musconetcong Watershed Assoc.

-

Curious about how the nature trails you enjoy actually get made? Join Ryan Jiorle, the Community Engagement Coordinator, for a one-mile walk on the Educational Trail. Learn about its past, present, and future, which includes a grant to convert it from a short out-and-back trail to a 3.5 mile loop on both sides of the National Wild and Scenic Musconetcong River. Afterward, participants will hop in the car for a short drive to one of the public access points for the planned loop trail, along with a conversation about why these trails matter and what we can do to protect them.

The Musconetcong Watershed Association leads hiking and paddling trips and hosts River Talks on a wide variety of topics. We have a 4 Mile Run/Walk for the River the first Sunday in May and a Wine Tasting Event along the River the first Saturday in October.
