Everyone wants to know where the name "Naked Jake" came from....There's lots of theories.
-Some people believe that the name is symbolic of the soul-barring passion that the band displays with their music. Nope.
-Some people believe that Jake had a long career in the Adult Film Industry. No such luck.
-Some people believe that during the 3rd set, the band strips down. Unfortunately, there's never been enough Jack Daniel's for that to happen.
-Some people believe that the name was a result of a drunken night in a swimming pool.... Could be.
