Free Viewing of the 2019 Lunar Eclipse at the United Astronomy Clubs of NJ

UACNJ will open up for a special lunar eclipse viewing event with water, soda and some limited hot beverages available for purchase. Bring your whole family and dress warm.

Unlike a solar eclipse, there's no danger from looking at the moon during a lunar eclipse. You don't need any special equipment or to take extra precautions to enjoy a blood moon.

The observatory is located in Jenny Jump Forest at 399 State Park Road in Great Meadows, NJ.

Free lecture on astronomy-related topic followed by observing on multiple telescopes. Lecture rain or shine; observing when sky is clear.
